    G'day
I am rebuilding an 86 vfr750 and was wondering if the australian deliverd bikes had the red white and blue colour scheme or if they come out in solid colours?
the bike will have some improvements but I would like to use a factory colour on it. Any help?

As far as I know, Australian delivered '86 bikes were all white pearl. Not sure where each model year change was but 89's were black, and in the middle there - 87 and or 88, they were blue. It's possible there were some colour options among them, E.G. white or blue in 88 i think, but solid white, blue and black were the colours for that generation of VFR.

Thanks for the reply Porl, but a bit dissapointed on the colour options as I do like the red blue and white.
I suppose the bikes engines were the solid black and did not have the goldy coloured covers on them either? As this one will not be stock I suppose deviating from the factory appearance wont hurt.
