I have been looking for clear turn signal lenses and tailights in LED. Has anyone changed their amber turn signals to clear? Does anyone have a recommended online store that is repuatable where i can purchase? Thanks for your suggestions.

I just installed the clear led taillight assembly listed above. Looks pretty sweet on the bike and illuminates well. Sorry no pictures yet.

Keep in mind how dark it was during these pictures. The flash made the leds seem dim, but thats not the case at all. No extra tag light needed because the leds light the plate with white light.

    Hi

I am considering fitting these to my bike. How is the flash rate, do they flash too fast or require extra hardware to work correctly?

I purchased 'HONDA VFR800 FiW1 98-01 LED REAR LIGHT WITH INDICATORS' from ebay for £90

I found it to be well made, easy to fit (had to check polarity of each connector and reverse if needed)
In strong sunlight the indicators seem quite dim
The flash rate of the indicators was normal and no other fittings or hardware was required. Everything that was needed for the item to work was supplied
    NO fitting instructions were included

The number plate is also illuminated

At night these are very bright as can be seen in my attached picture...

    Pros:

    Great looking
    Easy to fit
    Financial saving over OEM part

    Cons:

    No fitting info
Indicator quite dim in strong sunlight

I'm contemplating fitting these on my 98 too, but can't make my mind up between the clear or smoked versions. My bike is a funny mix of silver/gray. Opinions would be appreciated.
