Ok peeps I know many of you have been concern and wonder where is Long and what happen to him? So here is my story.
Last week I decided to head out to DV for the big rally so off I go..........
    (To be continue)

This part is after the trip and in Orthopedic office. I will put the story together soon
Dr: Hi My name is Dr. Gibson how are you?
Me: Hi My name is Long and I am not feeling too good that is why I am here.....
Dr: Well I look at your X ray and it does not look good:hss:
    Me: talk to me Doc:rolleyes:
Dr: Well your clavicle is broke and it is to close to the join so it is very difficult to heal......
    Me: Ok...
Dr: It seem to be seperate too far a part and the end is chattering with some small pieces. Your best option is reconstruct the bone with pin and screws...............Also I have to attract some bone marrow from your hip to have a bone wrap around the broken section so it can heal faster and stronger.
Me: Doc are you sure this is my best option?
    Dr: Yes it is
Me: So who will be cutting me up?
    Dr: That would be me
Me: Ok so when can this be done?
    Dr: This Friday morning
Me: Okso how long the procedure will take?
Dr: Couple hours and I have to knock you out
Me: That sound good and Doc how long can I get back on my bike?
Dr: Three months minimum if you ever want to ride again.
Me: Ok I guess I have to wait then.
Dr: See you on Friday morning........Branda (Front desk) will go over with you in details. Blahh...blahh
    Me: Thanks doc

My leg just bruised up but mostly ok no broken bone, however the Clavicle is not so good.

That sucks man! I've had reconstructive surgery on my shoulder and the waiting to get back on the bike was the worst. Hope you heal quickly.
    Can't wait for the details.

Wow Long, sorry to hear, but good luck for a speedy recovery.

If you can't ride at SLO, can you at least be a bike bitch and clean and maintain all the bikes each night after a days ride?

Can we see pictures of Branda's legs instead of yours? Or do we not want to see those, either?

Are you still wondering why your butt hole hurt after coming out of surgery?

All kidding aside buddy, you know I hope you're doing well!

Just to clarify: The dry humping of the metal dinosaur and the broken collar bone are unrelated?

At least your getting a sponge bath out of the deal. Get well soon.

I'm confused (as usual). You mean your clavicle is in your ankle? Are you related to Linda Lovelace by chance?

Get well soon. Maybe I can stop by and see you in September when I'm on my no-end trip out West.

Bummer Long. I feel for you. I broke my collar bone pretty good back in my MX days. The doctor said to stay off the bike for 6-8 weeks. I was back on the 125 and racing (through the pain) in 3 weeks. Now that I'm no longer 20 something, I can say that it was very stupid on my part. Because of it, the bone overlapped when it healed and my range of motion is now not what it should be. So take your time and heal up. You'll be back on the bike before you know it. It's no going anywhere :)

Ok fellars let wrap a chair and some cold drink :pop2: join me for a ride
I have always wanted to explore the DV after reading many RR from other inmates. Lost rider is one of my favorite; I try to book a trip with Finn for few days. During our plan my BFF Jason broke his arm from mountain bike so I have to cancel the trip. Thanks to Finn he redirects me to Joel for any open spot to the March 2013 rally. Lucky for me there are couples spots available due to last minute cancellation. WooooooHoooooo I am on my way to DV……..So here is my beloved GS patiently waiting in the garage the night before. I know I know she is a garage queen.......Will have to see after the rally

While checking the status on the thread I found a post from Diego stating he is leaving early on Thrusday from Long Beach. Perfect I was just slap up solo to the Rally but since he is leaving at the same time so why not ride together safer that way.......

So here is Diego taking a breakfast break
    [IMG]

    Haha what a poser
    [IMG]

I get a little bore after so many miles slaping and my butt getting soar. I decided to taking some picture on the fly
