I like it! Minimalist design + cross-plane triple motor = should be a good bike.

Yamaha are clearly going after Triumph, and I wish them the best of luck. No-one else has made a serious attempt at building a modern triple.

Put some fairings on it similar to the motogp M1 and I'm sold.

They're going after the people who would buy a Street Triple, hence no fairing. I like the semi-retro look.

I'd seriously look at it if Yamaha make an S version down the track with a half fairing, bigger tank and better seat.

They have that already, the current R1. 4 cylinder crossplane crankshaft.

This thing will have a bit more HP and torque than our VFR's with a wet weight of 419 pounds = really fun Hooligan bike! The seat will need to be replaced...it looks thin but in looking at a bunch of pics, it looks like you could change out the entire exhaust and get rid of that huge Cat in 30 minutes, hehe. As others have said, make some sort of bullet fairing an option and I would be on it! They actually priced it right at 7900 bucks too!

Looks fantastic! I had a FZ1 previously, which was a fantastic bike. I'd buy one of these if having two bikes was an option right now! I have no idea why anybody would buy a beautiful naked bike and then go and put fairings on it...

It's because Americans are notoriously resistant toward naked bikes.

My Hawk is naked and I love that bike, I'm just not in the market for another naked bike. Funny part is I bought fairings for it and decided I liked it better naked. Now what kills me is buying a faired bike and turning it naked.
