    1986 VFR750F 51,000 miles.

Newer tires, chain and sprockets. Brakes good. Runs great (I did the valve adjust and carb clean on the bike previously). Brand new fuel pump and reg/rect. Needs to be reassembled after the previous owner bent the sub frame in a low side. New/used sub frame on. 4-2-1 slip-on (Kerker?) I'm going to put a Sudco aluminum can on instead of the oval carbon-fiber.

Completely rideable with an afternoon of assembly.
    $600.
He bought a BMW GS1100 and he knew he wouldn't be riding it. He also has a Ducati 748.

I'm going to ride it a bit before doing some stuff to it. I've got a VFR Chuck one piece tail for it already. Gonna order new glass upper and lowers from Beasely. And I'm pretty sure this will be getting the F2 equipment I recently acquired.

Everything worked great. Awesome weekend on Vashon Island.
    Friend rode the rain bike...

    Set up camp...

Friend who has the VTR250 on the far right hit a doe on Sat afternoon... Didn't crash. Broken turn signals, foot peg bracket. And I thought I was going to crash when I hit his saddle bag lid that came flying off. Needless to say the beers were awesome that night.

Oh, and apparently I F-ing suck at taking pictures even when my phone has awesome one. And my friend was pissed when I didn't have my Go-Pro mounted, because I was right behind him...
The Go-Pro I have no excuse. Pictures?... We were all kinda freaked and didn't think of it.

Was your friend anticipating replacing a bulldozer track at some point in the trip?

I'd love to be on that camping excursion.

I didn't get it at first... pretty funny. Sleeping bag rolled up in 2 cushions... we're "old". Ground is hard despite a healthy buzz.

HA. It was the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the roll.

I bring a small inflatable pool float, comfy and packs really small and has it's own pillow.

That's a great idea. I think I had 2 in the attic right above where the bikes were parked in the outer garage. Next time...

I have seen those pool floats but made with a stronger plastic before and labeled as a single inflatable mattress. I plan on buying one if I ever see them. damn well worth it IMO. I'm gonna go check Big 5 website right now.

Not sure if they're still available. When I worked at the Honda shop I ordered a set for one of my VF1000R's that I finally finished last year. They look so much better than the stockers and bolt right on.

There's a NSR125 mirror that looks like it has the same mounts too. I think it is 1990-1993.

Yep- That's the intended use- they came stock on the euro bikes, no? damn europeans get all the stylish stuff.

I was wondering if that nsr125/rc30 mirror was the same mount, hmmm....

    thanks!

If I find a set of those nsr mirrors cheap enough, I'm going to just get them and find out.
