    Hey folks,

New Canuck on the board, and planning 2014 for my ol' girl to stretch her legs.

Found our own little Forum with little use and thought I'd start a thread for any planned rides.

I'll be planning a few soon... anyone have anything interesting on the books ?

    Cheers.

Will watch this one for sure. We jave had a few rides in the PNW including rides to Baker, Rainier, and St. Hellens in the past. Any one of them could easily be repeated but usually later June due to snowpack

There's a Wed-Sunday Ride planned in July over at the "other" site that I will be attending this summer. looks like we have a pretty decent sized group going already but is there such a thing as too many?

Checked out that other ride but those dates are not lining up for me. Too bad cause I know they have great roads in Oregon. Ridden several of them with a few regular riding partners a few times.

She doesn't open her purse for any part of my anatomy. Been trying to access that area for something like 28 years now. Another one of my life's failures. You haven't posted up in the "You dropped your bike how many time" thread yet. Get with the picture Thumper.

They had to reschedule a charity ride that I do every year so I will be bailing out around lunch on Friday and heading home because I've got to be rested and have the bike ready to go first thing Sat morning.

Another kootney run would be nice, wife has her own bike now so I wont be overloaded :p
Maybe combine it with a rockies tour? Early to mid july is always best for that.
2010 I went home to squamish and rode up the duffy to cache creek. Really enjoyed that.

I will see what I can do. Does it have to be dry and warm? For now, I have to stick to the day rides other than R3. Some irons in the fire work wise. Actually some wire hangers over a match stick.

I'm getting a bit soft in retirement too. Hope to correct that and regain my brass ass.

That extended trip, the whole trip for that matter, could be up in the air. I am working on it as if it is happening but that could change in a flash. Really want to get up to Winnipeg though. A very close friend from high-school, who I have remained in close contact with , suffered and brain aneurism last week. He phone today and is out of the hospital and back home but it sort of drives home the message that as we age...........the grass gets cut more often and we wash the car more and...........OK............I've lost track of what I was saying.

Is it beer time yet? Be sure to avoid spraying WD40 on your grand kids.

    April 19th - April 20th :

Okay I need to get my riding legs back into the groove and test out some mods and such….

I was thinking 500-800km per day,, scoot out to the WA Coast maybe get to Astoria and then back to Canada…if anyone is interested let me know we hammer out the details..
