Anyone know if these are worth it? Found some on ebay for a good deal.
I know they make other producks and they claim to have the best optics.

I dont need to spend $60 to see how quickly i can break a windscreen.
Zero gravity sticks out too much.

I like the puig look the best.

Figured id give pro teks a chance if anyone has seen one before?

Having run stock, ZeroG Double Bubble and currently the MRA with Vario Lip. I can say that I will never own another windscreen on my 6th Gen... It took some fussing with the lip to get it in the right position for the majority of my riding but I absolutely love it now. And when it's damn hot I can drop the lip down and it aligns the airflow almost perfectly with the vents on the front of my jacket.

I've used the stock, zero gravity and MRA Vario. For the short rides, and 600 miles days there is nothing like the Vario.
    Your miles may vary.

I have the Vario on my 6th gen as well. Do you guys find that it causes a small "hop" in the front end? I swear that is what it feels like at 40 mph or faster. As if the wind was trying to pick up the front end.

Does anyone use a screen that is smaller/shorter than stock? I am about 5'8" and the turbulent air from the screen hits me right at the helmet, so it's noisy. If I raise my head I get into clear air and the noise lessens considerably. I don't want it going over my head since I like the wind pressure on my chest to help support me.

Cut your screen down flush with the supports, i did this with a cheap chinese one and that threw it right into my upper chest neck area. Im not 5'8", so im sure it fall on your middle chest. Br careful cutting, i suggest using a dremmel. And round out the edges for cosmetics.

Yeah, I had considered that but was afraid if it turned out bad, I'd have to buy another stock one. Probably cheaper to buy an aftermarket rather than an OEM.

I have ridden in many conditions, including thunderstorms, heavy winds, rain and hail, and I don't think I have experienced that issue.

to the OP, the pro tek screens are just the chinese plastic screens re labeled. I'd spend a little more and buy a decent one.
