Wonder if those will fit the new VFR800?

I don't know. Do you know if a 1200 wheel will bolt right up to an 800? If so, you would think that they would work.

If you're talking about the pre 2014 VFR800, no. The 1200 uses a 5 bolt hub and the 800 uses a 4 bolt hub, that is until the 2014 VFR800 model, as it uses a 5 bolt hub too, just not sure if the bolt patterns match.

In post #2 I was referring to the 2014 VFR800 w/ five bolt lug pattern. I think gsxrg was too. Can't find any info on the actual pattern measurement or OEM rim widths for the '14 VFR800.

I wonder if the hub from '14 VFR would fit a 6th gen.....You see where this is going ;)

You're also going to have to consider offset of the rim as well as bolt patters. I've noticed the lugs on shaft drive bikes are much more centerlined than chain drive bikes.

True. You would think a rim from a bike with SSA would have no offset. As in the mounting flange is on centerline.

If Oz or Marchesini made some good forged Aluminums, they'd be under $2k if you could get a deal. I highly question CF on the street too. Seen half a dozen BST's wheels cracked and busted. I like forged AL for the street, Mags for the track.
