I'll get a pic up when I can but my PR3 front is squared/squaring off, it's noticeable when i run my finger over a solid bit of tread.

Worth mentioning I've only covered 6k max on these tyres, had to replace the rear due to multiple punctures but from what others have said on here i should get at least 10/15k miles from the front. My riding is mostly straight line commuting but at relatively low speeds (30mph) and when i corner i try to lean as much as possible (it's good fun ;) )

help?!?!?! cant really afford a new front, paying for a wedding here!

How is your air pressure? under/over inflate can ruin the tire quick.

I ran two sets of PR2s on my bike - not exactly sure how much of a difference there should have been between the 2 and 3. But I only got about 6K miles out of mine.

    Is your air pressure OK?

Maybe you can make switch to the PR2 in lieu of the PR3 - I think they are a bit cheaper (here in the US, at least). Use some of that wedding money!

Checked and corrected once a week with a digital inflator/pressure gauge, 36psi front/42 rear

Are the pr2's still really good in the rain? that was the main thing that sold me on the 3's

I've heard the 3s were a little bit better in the rain. Never ran them myself, so I can't comment. Need to ask Randy from here - he's done lots of rain riding, and believe he's had both the 2s and the 3s.

I never had issues with the 2s in the rain.

PR3 is supper in the rain I have tested myself several time. You might feel a bit of hydroplane in deep water spot but will get grip again if you
    pull the throttle :)

I have had the 2's and later the 3's - they have very different tread patterns; the 3's are superb in the wet without losing anything on dry roads. 6K miles doesn't seem right..should be getting 10K or so from the rear, and generally the front should last longer. I have not seen a front square off before - usually cupping is the normal wear from the front... are you sure it is not the dual compound margin that you are detecting?

The construction of the roadway ie the mix in the asphalt or concrete and the slope can affect tire wear.
