So I just got my new Airtech front fairing and am now scratching my head on how to mount it.
    So my question is,
Who has mounted one of these to their own 3rd generation VFR?
Its bad ass by the way.

This looks interesting. You might actually be the first member to put on the Airtech fairings. A detailed report of your installation would be cool. Liking the new headlights. Xeon projectors are the way to go for HID lighting IMO.

Good luck on your installation and keep posting your progress.

    Cheers

Cant wait for more pictures and maybe a detailed write up. I had been looking at the airtech stuff for almost a year before I found a full set of take offs on ebay.
Hope the build goes smoothly for you!

hey there jorgescar69, i'm new on the forum. Gotta say you've got an interesting build coming up.

Wanted to know if you can give me some details (maybe a weblink or two) about where you got the parts, and who manufactured those lights.

I'm considering and planning body work on my 95 750 VFR which is black at the moment but looking for some lighter, nicer fairings and kits.

Hope your good anyway, take care

I found the lights on ebay. Since the snow is now falling the project has slowed down.
Ok... so maybe I cant get myself to cut up the new airteck.
I found the front plastics and a headlamp and been riding and put the airteck to the side.

I found a front fairing on ebay just befor I had the air tech delivered and put it on hold so I could ride. But work will begin soon as the temperature is better.

Anymore work on the front fairing? I am about to place an order for one. Just wanted to see about how it matched up with side fairings, and how those lights turned out.

I had two failures with the vacuum forming to cover the lights. But I will have it done soon.
    Thanks for asking.

You got a ebay link to that kind of lighting system. I put in an after market Xeon hid kit but not a projector. They have some bulky fans on the back that I don't like refittimg every time I pull the front off.

Mounting the 55w box was the worst part
    [IMG]
    Making the cover... take 4.!

Just had one issue with the wire form the battery. I put on a connector and it melted. Shorted out. So I just solder the wire.
Was more a mental block to get it done.[IMG]
