Was worried the givi side racks wouldn't install with the exhaust without some spacers or mods. Put the racks on last week, and although the right side rail is on the can, everything bolted up fine. Was worried though there wouldn't be enough clearance for the e41 side case to clear the end of the can.

Well they showed up today and no problem.

I would still consider using a spacer or something. Eventually you will have a scuff or wear spot on the can from vibrations.

I found that a piece of cork from a wine bottle makes for a great spacer. Have a thin piece between my Leo's and my fender eliminator. ..license plate....just in case...awfully close....

I've got a very small chunk of 1/16" neoprene gasket material sitting between the can and luggage rail. It's not going anywhere.

I have a Delkevic high mount with Givi side racks and have the exact same clearance issue . With weight in the luggage, it will move and touch and scar the exhaust. I added washers to the exhaust can mount bracket to move it in closer to the wheel. Put in a washer, ride test, add another washer. Now I have no clearance issues even fully loaded. Simple, easy.

It looks in the photo as if the muffler bolts to the outside of the frame attachment point

If it will fit on the inside of the attachment point

That will give you 3-4 mm extra clearance , Just a thought

Anybody ever try this with the sw-motech racks? I've been wondering if a high mount would work.
