Does anybody know the cross reference for automotive thermostats that will fit the 83 750 Interceptor? I can find a standard one for about $40, I know the automotive ones are much cheaper and work the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's some info I've kept. Never had to try them. Supposed to be correct from what others have said.

They're listed in the SabMag FAQ. I've cut and pasted the numbers here:

    Stant brand numbers
    160 degree
    35366

    170 degree
    35967

    180 degree
    35368

The stock one is a 180 degree. I haven't used any of these, but I know others have. (I believe they're Honda Accord or Acura listings.) Make sure the one you use has a bleed hole in it like the original.

SabMag is no longer and I suspect some of the other sites also. Here's a site with some V4 info you may find useful along with some of the other stuff Mike has written.

Stant Superstat 180 degree #65848 This one will not work, it is about 1/2" too long for the housing. Not sure if the others will work or not. I went ahead and took mine out and checked it, it opened as it should.

That's good to know. The Magna/Saber may have a different housing. Especially the V65 motors. Or somebody never really checked it only cross referenced it possibly.
