The weather here in San Diego (and most of Southern California) has been fantastic this past week. I took advantage of another warm night and escaped from the office. I stopped by La Jolla and caught the sunset. Beautiful. More warm weather is expected throughout the weekend. Looking forward to the group ride to the Salton Sea.

Here we get sunrise over the ocean. Pretty cool!

Are you still riding and enjoying the cb11?

That would seem so odd after a lifetime of ocean sunsets to see the sunrise over one. Something I hope to experience!

About the CB - I hate to admit this on a VFR forum but it has become my go to bike. I love it. Today, for whatever reason, felt like a VFR day. And although I find myself drawn more to the CB, one ride on the VFR reminds me how great it is and that it's a keeper.

Nice to see that the surgery hasn't put a damper on your drinking abilities! January and February will be here soon enough. We should have a "Duccman's First Ride" when you're healed up enough and ready. I never took Affleck all that seriously as an actor until I saw The Town. Great flick. Then he did Argo which was another good one. Haven't seen Gone Girl but have heard good things. He just better not mess up Batman or I'll boycott all his films!

Great pics! Spent the last 2 hrs scrapping ice of the driveway. Sucks! At least those off us that have winter can live vicariously through you guys on the west coast! Ride safe & have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Nice sunset indeed. If this weather continues tomorrow I'll try to get a sunset picture too, although maybe not by the ocean.

As to liking the VFR more, I'll admit right now when I just want to ride for fun, the keys I always take are always for the Buell 1125R. It's much faster, much more responsive handling, and it looks bad-ass in black. Even for the boring daily commute, the Buell is the one I prefer to ride. Which explains why the VFR, which is a year older, actually has LESS miles than the Buell!

Having said that, any long ride I take, will always be on the VFR800. It's way more comfortable and refined. It's such a great do it all bike. Unfortunately, if given a choice I always pick the most fun bike to ride and that's just not the VFR in my garage.

OC if ya dont ride the VFR that much anymore maybe we can work out a deal for that rear wheel....worth a shot....sure love the 1125R ...the last time following you threw Sand Canyon....that was probably the most fun I've had since owning my bike. Hope ya had a great time today
