Hey I know there are some dual forum trollers here...yes I'm one, but I clicked on VFRDiscussion and it said it no likeee.

"This webpage is not available"

VFRW members seem like people I'd want to have a beer with. I picture VFRD meets a bit like wine tastings but with a good deal more swallowing...

You got to really watch what post on that board, there is a member on there that goes by KanadianKunt that really likes to throw his weight around and kick people off the board

I belong there, well maybe not "belong", but am a member there under my same handle. But seldom post, or even visit there. I think I would enjoy the Mary Kaye site more.

 

lol... that's a polite way of saying it, yes.

 

I personally like it over there, just for different reasons. If I want very technical or concise help/instructions about any VFR minutia; that is the site for it. If I want to just shoot the shit with some guys who happen to have the same bike as me, this is the place for it.

Different strokes for different folks.

Ken is one of the finest people I know and is a very good friend. We've ridden together many times and you can't have a better friend. I don't know how you came up with your dislike for him but that's OK. VFRD is a site that has changed a LOT over the past few years. Probably because only half as many motorcycles are sold today as were in the mid-2000's. Thank you Obama for taking our disposable income.

It's moderated by good people and the owner is a good person. I know all of them and have ridden with all of them. The owner wants motorcycle discussion only, he owns the site, doesn't take ads so he isn't influenced by anyone. Anyone is free to join and they'll help you leave if you don't play nice. Nothing wrong with that AFAIC. I just wish they were THE VFR site like they were a few years ago when this site wasn't so active or nearly as big. Think before you throw rocks. Your house is glass.

Yea, it's been down a couple days, as far as nice people go, they could be. Funny how some may hide behind a key board. I say that because I know a couple that in person they're not bad, but behind the scenes LOL Dr. Jeckel Mr. Hyde thing going on, whats funny is when I confront them in person, they laugh and blow it off like it's a joke so IDK. Me personally it's been like 7 years since my run in, I'm not one to hold a grudge, but I still see the same altitude. I don't care to tread so lightly like I'm being watched for every word written. I get it, it's his sight, still really. SMH. is what it is.

 

I like VFRD for the tech talk with out squids or trolls ruining it.
I like VFRW for the ability to drop F bombs with out being banned lol.

I think the two sites are the necessary Ying and Yang.

 

Well it was troll free for a while and we all know where he ended up!
