[FONT=Bitstream Vera Serif, Times New Roman, serif]I traded in my silver 03 for this beauty. 2014 Deluxe with saddle bags, quick shifter, center stand. Only 2650 miles, still smells new!

    Love it already.

Sounds like me buying my 2010 VFR1200 back in October, I literally got a chance to ride it twice before the snow fell.... *sigh*

Spring is such a long way away :p

Nice looking bike, congrats. Which dealer was this?

No rain tomorrow, plenty of time to stretch her legs!

Contra Costa Power Sports, they bought the bike from another dealer. I will be out tomorrow for sure, rain not scheduled till Sunday night. I am checking the quick shifter installation to see if I can install the lowering blocks I had before.

Was able to get $3650 off asking price, which made it a difference of $11K, they started at $12K, but that was too much. Not too bad considering it need 32K service and a new front tire.

Cool, if the blocks fit BLS would like to know, w/ pics, assuming you had the BLS blocks on your '03.

Barely broken in. Nice bike. I think this bike will be in my future not too far down the road. I will not be able to part with the '07 though. If they would make it in a RWB color scheme, then it would already be a done deal. Congratulations.

Emailed Larry at BLS today and he says they definitely don't fit, probably clearance with shift lever pivot. Took a short ride, cleaned up chain grease, looks really nice. Fit and finish is superb. Using the emblems like the 1200 on the tank instead of decals, makes the bike look much better.

I gotta say that ever since the 14's came out I have really liked the white ones, but the quality of the red paint job is superb, and there isn't a scratch or ding on it from the PO. I like the new badge on the tank instead of the decals really takes it up a step in over finish. I like how they have integrated the bag mounting into the body so that with them off, it looks clean.

That sucks, but that bike has the best Honda color in my mind. I saw one on the floor at my Honda dealer and that is why I wanted a VFR, I have only owned one bike less than 1100cc and mostly inline Kawi's, and Honda going to a 1200 was a serious intrigue for me. I wanted that bike and when I was ready it was sold! My 800, They had it on the floor and I pasted it buy 2 months earlier due to the 1200 and being a manual not that bullshit auto. But I bought that 800 for new for the same price as a used 1200 with 21000 miles on it. 7,999 and happy!

Have had the bike 2 years now, and still love it. Bike came with the QS already installed, but appears to be a very simple install.
I have gotten so used to it that I have a problem when I get on the '83! Unlike the BMW system, it is for upshifting only, but makes for some quick get aways.
