So again I have yet another problem.

I re wired the bike by hand exactly how the original wire harness was like exactly you can't tell the difference, same gauge wire same color same electrical tape everything. (this was 6k miles ago)

Aaround 2k miles on the bike it wouldn't turn on. I thought i messed up and put some wires on the engine or something (NOPE)
Turns out the key assembly was bad so I separated the key part from the electrical part. (did 4k miles with this set up)

NOW after 6k miles of riding my tail lights won't come on. no serious breaks in wiring that I see and nothing else wrong visibly with the key assembly. (I even used an oem replacement because I needed to replace the key anyway.)

So my brake light works but not my tail light. Need it for work in about 4 hours so anything you can think of shoot it out now lol

This is a dumb question but I gotta ask. Did you check the bulb?

Can you just hook in a temp wire from the battery so you can get to and from work till you get time to really sort it out

I just took off the sensor under the front brake lever that turns them on.

You do realize that doing something to the front brake lever is not turning on the tail light, it is turning on the stop light so when you are braking you stop light will not show up to anyone following you

You say you rewired the bike so you must know the wire that feeds the tail light from the right hand switch. Have you put a meter on the tail light pin in the bulb housing
