MikeOConner from VFRD said I should post over here as well.

I am developing a TV pilot about me touring as a singer-songwriter on a VFR800. Very low budget but combines my love of music and motorcycles.

I am shooting the pilot episode from July 8 - 11th

I have a gig booked at 7PM on July 9th at Court Tavern in New Brunswick, NJ.

My sytle is Acoustic Rock. So if you dig that come out and support!

It would be cool to have a bunch of VFRs ride in for the show. I'll be coming in from Highpoint, NJ that day so if you want to ride along that would be amazing.

    More details to come

What guitar do you bring with you and where do you put it on a VFR?

I am bringing a Gibson J-200. I am modifying a Gator case to fit where the left side saddle bag goes. I will post pictures but it will be similar to the Zmotorcase made for Harleys.

I think I have it all worked out Dino. The guitar is a big Jumbo so it might take some doing. I am touring acoustically for this show so no need for the Strat but really appreciate the offer!

I could be persuaded to come out for that? I play similar music on a 6 string. We should do a group meet at a music store somewhere so we don't have to figure out a rig for instruments on our VFRs. Sounds like a very cool project.

This is an awesome idea! This gig is part of a pilot episode I am shooting over 4 days so my schedule is super tight but organizing a meet up jam is excellent!

When & where? Attendance is compulsory at this point. There is another forum member near me who have been on some spectacular twisty road rides in Bucks and Hunterdon counties. If you're interested in some really cool off the beaten path music stores and twisty roads, then Frenchtown, NJ should be on your destination list.

I looked this over and unfortunately the shooting schedule is too tight for each day to organize this for the pilot. I may try to organize another jam at another date.

Oh, I didn't mean for shooting... Though that would be undeniably cool. I just meant to get together for a friendly ride and jam. Come all who may enjoy sort of thing. No pressure.
