    Hi everyone,

I need a new chain for my bike. It has been kept outside for a while and the chain's condition isn't good.

Should I replace the chain or the chain and sprockets?

    THanks!

I would use a kit and replace all, it's often not that expensive as a kit.
On my 800 I used a DID chain and JT sprockets.
Because if one of the sprockets has a defect or wear, it will wear your new chain for more rapidly.
Got mine from www.louis.de they also ship to the UK and are pretty cheap.

To me it depends on the mileage and how well lubed your chain has been. I usually change sprockets after 2 chains, or around 40,000 miles.
