Mods - if this is the wrong place to post this please let me know where I can post.

I have an 86 VFR 700 that I am parting out. I bought it as a project knowing there was water damage in the engine, however I didn't know how bad it was. Finally got the case cracked and discovered I'll need new pistons and the cylinders need to be bored out. Those factors now make this a cost prohibitive project so I'm going to part the pike out and hopefully help someone out.

Frame has a clean title on it that is ready to go, I also have a FSM if you need/want one. Most parts are good and I'm more than happy to provide timestamped pictures if you're looking for something that I can provide. Plastics are mostly trashed, although I do have some so let me know what you need.

Here's a picture of the parts, either boxed up or sitting out that I took this morning:

Here's an album I was putting together to help me remember where things went if I got stuck during reassembly:

Let me know if you need something!

You want the tire and discs as well or just the rim?

Tire looks pretty good to me and is a Dunlop. Also I don't know why I thought I would remove the discs, so ignore what I said earlier. Mirror has some scuffs on it. Here's some pictures of both pieces. I really have nothing to base my pricing off of except ebay and I see the rim/tire going for ~$85 and the mirror for ~$25. How about $80 for both parts shipped? We can take this to PMs if you want.

Exhaust is complete (do you want the exhaust headers too?). It is a Super Trap which I'm told most people love. I never got a chance to hear it. The left side is scuffed/scraped up at the rear. I don't think I have a picture of that now but I can get one tomorrow. I do have a few pictures of it from when I took it off the engine. All pipes/tubing is there and it is complete, as well as the bolts (I'll have to dig through my bins for those, but I know I have them). Insides are a little rough, not going to lie to you about that. Also I think there were some collars that connected the pieces as well, if so I have those, but I may be confusing that with another part. If you're really interested I'll dig through the boxes and find them for you. I'll have to look at shipping, but how does $75 shipped sound?

Front rim/tire and left mirror are sold.

Also the frame has a clean and clear title if anyone wants that. $225 - $250 shipped depending on how far away you are... it's heavy!

Where are you located? I would be interested in all the fairing hardware and brackets. Mine was missing most of the bolts and half the brackets.

Seat and turn signals are sold.

Also I've had several people ask me about fairings and plastic but none have gotten back to me. I have plastics, some or OK and others are trashed. Some could be fixed and some are probably useless. Here are the pictures of them, if you want any or all of them PM me. First come first serve.

Mine has two busted mounts but the front is good, sounds like that won't work for you...

That's too bad, Bunky, but you're NOT scrapping that light !!@ Figger out how to improvise mounts using adhesives or other radical methods including zipties and bailing wire. :beguiled: Let no OEM parts be discarded, no matter what damage. The Future will need them.

Which is why I'm trying to get parts to those who need them! I'd rather spread some OEM love around than put it in the trash.
