Started off at 37 and went down to 32 the last 5 miles. Rode all week to work. Been 37 at night when I leave.:triumphant:

Awww, did your mangina get cold? lol

JK. Thirties are pretty darn cold when on a bike. I'm not a fan of it.

Could you imagine those CA guys trying to ride in anything less than 60*? They'd have to go home and boil up some tea. Oh wait, they don't have any water...

I have an Aerostitch Roadcrafter. I wear a sweatshirt under it with a fleece. I don't have my heated vest and gloves hooked up to my new bike yet.:beguiled:

I hear ya. Its been quite cold here at 01:00 on my freeway commute home (one hour). Not quite as cold as you but damned near. The Gerbings jacket liner is a Godsent. Except last night, I forgot to bring the controller so the nipples got a little hard.

One thing I have found though, is that just by wearing cheap rain jacket, this actually keeps you very warm because it stops the wind from getting through the seams and traps your own body heat inside. I have ridden many times in temps about -10C (14F)this way. My core stayed totally warm even without cranking the heat dial right up. Now the forehead was numb!
