Has anyone any experience with either of these? I am having some discomfort with the small diameter standard grips on my 2012 VFR1200F

    Thanks

You better have big hands. My bike came with something like Grip Puppies. After riding it home, the next day my wrists were killing me. They're just now getting better but I'm still wearing a brace on my throttle hand.

Maybe I'm just getting old, like duccmann. :boink:

    Thanks for the replies.
I take it you have them fitted to the VFR1200?
Duccmann, how come your fifth set? Do they deteriorate?

Ya after awhile, especially the left side after putting my bike on the center stand at work every day, bikes lowerd a bit so I think alittle more pressure and twisting a bit to get the led sled up.
    There worth every cent .....
    Trust me

Actually the first time I saw them was at the Rock Store on a VFR1200
The guy said he always used them on his Beemer.

Personally, I prefer the brand "Grab On" grip covers. The package indicates they are resistant to gas, oil, ozone, and UV. Have them on my 2012 VFR1200 and 2007 VFR800. The grip covers certainly increased my comfort on both bikes. Have since added them to an Aprilia Tuono and Honda CB1100. Uncertain if hand size is an influence. If it helps, I wear a size large glove. I typically order online and they only cost about $11 a set.

Just replace the grips with a grippy aftermarket grip. I found a nice pair of italian made grips at cyclegear for like $15-20. The oem grips are too skinny and very hard. I would toss em!
