That's a new one! I would remove the exhaust and see if the pellets are limited to being in the exhaust system or if they're actually running through the engine. It wouldn't hurt to check the airbox while you're at it. We have seen some "nesting" happen in the airbox of some bikes but would seem unlikely they would make it all the way through the carbs, engine, exhaust.

Airbox caches are common around here, one guy had goldfish in his, and he doesn't eat goldfish. Years ago living near the mountains, nearest neighbor about 3/4 mile away. Airbox full to brim with kibbles & bits...we weren't feeding kibbles & bits to our dogs!

I would start getting different insect/pest control stuff. Check air box like above sed, might be prudent to pull the exhaust pipes or if you wana go the extra yard, the entire system. Cheers Happy Fourth of July

French fry that's a good one! Yes I always clear the airbox after storage. I just pulled the exhaust system, it's clear now guess it all blew out.

the pellets would never make it past the converter on exhust. so i wouldn't think the would be from air box.
you could have a dead mouse in exhust some where.
