Just popped up the tank on my new to me Gen 5 to clean the air filter. Two hoses coming from the bottom of the tank. One is torn and the other has a 90 degree plastic elbow at it's end. Neither are connected to anything. Are these just vent hoses or are they supposed to be connected or is this some sort of modification? Thanks
One will be the fuel breather pipe and it routes through the frame to vent out at the bottom of the bike. Sounds worrying if one is torn because it may be the actual fuel line. If it isn't then it could still have petrol in it and you don't need me to tell you how dangerous that could be! If you need more pics from the manual let me know..
