Lol, is it just me, or does it ge really hot between the legs? I find when I sit closer to the gas tank, my middle leg area gets super hot from the heat of the engine.

It's not just you... It's hard to avoid this situation when the bike is a V-4. It's quite noticeable when the temps are over 85F and when you ride in traffic. The VFR is better than many others of similar architecture.
Keeping the bike moving @ almost any temp and the issue goes away. And when it's cool out it's a great feature! But this does influence which bike I ride when the temps rise - no such problem with my 919.
An Air-hawk or similar cushion could help with the issue if it really bugs you.

Agreed! It's beginning to get a bit colder out here in Canada so the heat is a nice "feature" at times lol.

There's a cream for that, ya know. ..

If you are hot on a vfr, don't ever ride a Panigale...

What Mark919 said! I recently test rode a 2010 Kawasaki Concours. Keep in mind the 2010 has an updated fairing that's supposed better manage heat than the previous model years. Talk about roasting chestnuts. At least compared to my 07 VFR or Hayabusa for that matter.

TMI LOL, dude, what are you talking about....you must be sensitive. Just saying, Other than the bit warm on the lower right calf, there's not much of a hint of it being overly warm there. On a 95+ day the whole bike is hot. I Agree, you want to feel hot, ride a Duc 916 and newer ;)

I have noticed this on both the VFR and the ST1300 when I wear jeans. If I wear riding pants the heat is not noticeable. That is not to say that other areas may not get hot from the riding pants but weight the options. Roasted chestnuts or not.

I only notice this sitting in traffic ... which I rarely do.

    I honestly don't thin it's that bad.

my RC51 cooks a nice sunny-side-up crotch, too. Any machine with a cylinder head that points right at the junk is gonna do that, it's perhaps the biggest advantage of a forward-leaning inline 4. I'll deal with it, though, the V-machines have a character that the inlines just can't match.

It gets really bad for me when humidity is high or when it gets hotter then 95F. Other than, I'm okay with it.

After couple hours ride, my nuts are stuck together like Christmas candy. I have used the Anti-Monkey Butt powder and that helps but is not cure all-end all. Friend of mine who rides a Triumph Sprint said he bought a pair of bicycling shorts to wear underneath pants and said it seems to help with comfort and heat some. Also has a little built-in padding in them.

**Edited for graphic content and Mr. Duccmann. LOL!

Underarmour Heatgear is your friend. Hockey top and bottoms are close fitting and even if you are sweaty in a leather suit, it slides off easily.

As long as you are moving, the evaporation of your perspiration causes you to cool off really nice, even in temps up in the 90's. I rode form Phoenix to Victorville a couple years back. I think the temps hovered about 100 even a tad higher. No doubt it was warm but was really bearable on I-10. Can't say as I recall just how my crotch was feeling at the time though.
