The bike is a little hard to corner right now with the DMr set-up. If I drop the front forks will this help? How far? My CBR had notches giving an idea of the extremes. This bike does not. Anyone had experience in this? I am just trying to get the bike to drop into the corner smoothly and quicker than it does right now. Thanks in advance!
Unless you have a shorter inseam, you'd be better servd shimming the rear shock 2-3 mm. That will net you about 10-15 mm actual raise in the rear.
If you've just put the DMr bits in your forks then the front end will now be riding higher because you'll be on stiffer springs than before. I have mine dropped down by 6mm, but in conjunction with a DMr shock which is 6mm longer so the front is lower and the back higher, which speeds up the turn in and gives me no instability issues.
