Yep, I know a used sprocket? that's why I'll say decent , as in less that 10k on it or less, looking for a decent oem 17th tooth counter shaft sprocket. I found out the PO put a 16t on , just bugs me, one knowing, but also how it goes, not to mention speed-o error. Honda wants $70, egad s .... After market ones look to chezy to me, so figure since this is sorta an experiment, I'll ask here if anyone has a decent oem 17t they'd like to part with, since a few here have dropped a tooth, who knows, I might find one ;)

RVFR, did you ever change to the 17 tooth front?

I have exactly the same problem, PO at some point installed a 16 tooth front.

Let me know what difference it has made if you made the change.

I do like the power wheelie in first gear, and I assume that will likely go away with the stock sprocket tooth count. Yea, or neigh?

Ya know, I did not. kinda just got use to the speed-O era being what it is, now and then it still bugs me, but nope. But now that you've brought this up might go looking for one again. ;)

I've got one I pulled out of my bike recently, no idea of the condition but it's yours for postage costs if you want it, I'll grab a pic when I'm home.

I've also got one with not very many miles on it. I put it on with stock rear sprocket and didn't like the relatively sluggish acceleration, and slipping the clutch so much to get rolling from a start with two people on board.

I'll check later this morning and make sure.
