I spotted this earlier today and thought I would post it in case it might help someone out.

The T0MT0M Rider 4.3" Motorcycle GPS is on (Black Friday?) sale right now at Amazon for $165. Model # 1GD0.052.00. This is the model immediately prior to the new Rider 400, and while no longer current, the low price definitely makes it worth a look. (Retail on the Rider 400 is $500.) If you're interested in this you may want to act quickly. The price when I originally spotted this deal about 12 hours ago was $150. Now it's $165. Who knows how much more it might rise by the end of the weekend...

Update, Friday night: I just checked the site again and the RIDER is now out of stock, but the page says there will be more arriving on Monday, so they can still be ordered.

Just checked ... it's significantly more now. :(

Too bad - my GPS was obliterated in the crash this summer and I need a new one. I'm more of a map in the tank bag guy - but the GPS is very handy at times.

I bought one for $164, the lifetime maps are nice and I can use it in the car too! My old garman is junky!

That's odd. You may want to take another look. I checked two minutes ago and it is still listed at $164. If "significantly more" means the price shows roughly $220 for you, then it would appear to be Amazon automatically calculating the exchange rate between US and Canadian dollars, since you're apparently in Canada.

The page also now says they are "In stock but may require an extra 1-2 days to process."

For reasons I don't understand, the link in my previous post is now being redirected to a $299 listing for the RIDER GPS on Amazon. The original that's on sale is still there but I can't manage to link to it. I'll keep trying and post a working link if I can figure out what's going on.

Looks like the backorder price from Amazon is $158

I've never had a gps. Do you know if this one has a speedometer or do they all come with one?

I believe that every GPS includes a speedometer function, although they may not all display them the same way.
