   I keep hearing about using an R1
   
   DB is only a few miles from my house ..I know people that have got Goldwing starters from them with good luck

   Stop. You do not want to put cheap after market rr's on your bike. Just get the shindengen FH020aa mosfet rr, from www.roadstercycle.com
   
   ps yes that is the rr that the new yamaha r1 uses....
