    Folks-

I developed these three sizes of bar risers for my own '14 VFR and decided to make them available to all. They come in .6" .95" and 1.25" heights. All three fit with no modifications to the bike, wires, hoses, etc. There is no interference with the fairing, shield or tank.

Installation takes about 10 minutes if you are slow and careful. The kit includes all required hardware and instructions, including torque settings. The hardware is stainless (A2 DIN912), and varies for each height.

The color is anodized vs painted, so it is more durable, but not an exact match for the bronze paint. It is quite colse and they look good on the bike. Frankly, from the seat, they are nearly impossible to see...

They provide a great improvement in comfort, and more choices than the hardware from Honda that is almost twice as expensive.

The color variation is due to the lighting in my photographs. I show the photos with the parts in different orders and the ones in back always appear to be a bit darker, but they are all the same color.

Rode my bike from Texas to Cali with em and would not have had it any other way. Never really noticed an issue with the color

Can you tell me the correct Torque settings for hex bolts ?

Am about to fit my bar risers but the instruction sheet lists 22 N-m as the torque but then says check the manual for the correct torque? Can you confirm the correct torque value thanks.

16 ft lbs or 22 nm is the correct torque for the supplied hex head bolts.

    Thanks!

Hi Rob and thanks for the .95 risers for my 2014. Dealer put them on for me during fist oil change. For free!

Had a little thumb nerve pain in left hand. Thanks to these, this old 73 year old feels much more comfy.
Gonna put my Puig Touring screen on soon and be ready for a South Louisiana winter. However 2 days ago it was 95 degrees. Our winters are about ONE MONTH!

    Glad to hear it!

I have to say, I am pretty envious of your riding season. Things are coming to a close up here. Just had a wonderful ride from Upstate NY to southern VT for the weekend. Beautiful foliage, but also a bit sad as we get the bikes ready for the big sleep.

Mine arrived yesterday. Shipping from the US to down under was a lot quicker than I thought. They arrived before I got the bike!

I found/ordered them from e-bay after generic searches for VFR 800f accessories before I realized you where here on these forums.

Excellent! When does the bike arrive? I envy you all going into summer. The riding season is coming to an end here in the Northeast of the US.

    Hi Rob,

Do you still have a set of the 1.25 bar risers for the 2014 that you could send to Calgary Canada?

    Thanks!

Just wanted to drop a line here and share my experience with Rob @ Motopumps.

Great guy to deal with, I originally purchased the .95" riser and found out they were not ideal for me with my back surgery. So Rob sent me another set and we went with the .6" version and they fit me like a glove. Great guy to deal with and he will take care of you finding your "just right fit".

P.S. I will pick up a new padded envelope and send the others back tomorrow.

    Thanks Rob

    Tristan

Thanks for the kind words, Tristan! The fit is the point, so sometimes it takes more than one try. Happy to help.

You found being more upright not as good ? I ask because I've allready had C4-C7 fused and have spinal stenosis in L4-S1 and opted for the 1.25" , so you got me wondering if I went to far ?

I had read some previous reviews and found many liked the tallest ones so I figured I would try the .9" riser. I put some miles on her and found something to be "off" . I guess it put me a little too far up and was causing pressure on my low back, which is why I sold my Boulevard... I tried the .6" and it was perfect. I was up a little bit more and the low back pain did not come on. I rode 60 miles yesterday again and it feels great. FWIW I'm about 5'9" 178#. I ride with the seat on the lowest position. I prefer some forward lean but stock was a little too much on my arms and this little bit of difference is perfect.
