Took today and tomorrow off. Ended up in Seattle.

I HATE! driving in Seattle. But in the afternoon, on the bike, it was awesome. The views were amazing. I'm gunning for a backdrop for the next calendar. I might even scout out some more tomorrow.

If you guys want to spring for a few pesos to get oot of the traffic on a nice day. Hop the ferry to Vashon. Round trip from West Seattle for a bike and rider is aboot $7.50. The return ferry from Vashon on some runs also goes to Kingston. The traffic on that side sometimes gives the impression that somebody banned cages.

LOL Rich's Seats is also in Kingston.. How's that for an unashamed plug?

You must be getting a kick back Billy. I'll get to Kingston some time this summer and check them out.

There was a plus to the city riding. I'm always pushing it just a tiny bit in the corners and on the back roads, passing usually has to be done with limited visibility. You have your hand on the front brake coming into corners- you never know what might be on the other side.

The city was actually relaxing, to a point. The only problems is finding where they hide the traffic lights in those funky intersections. And what the fuck is this "bicycle lane" I figured I had two wheels, I must be good to go...
