Hey All, I recently picked up an '01 VFR and it came with clear front signals and a clear/led rear tail light. The guy I got the bike from didn't own it but a month, so he didn't know much about it. Does anyone know what brand/model this tail light is? I'm more curious than anything in the event I need to source a part for it, or if someone asks, it'd be nice to know! Thanks!
The only company I can think of off hand that makes a clear lens LED tail light for the 5th gen VFR800 is Thurn Motorsports out of Germany. http://www.thurn-motorsport.de/html/blinker-leuchten-rc46-1.html
It definitely looks like that tinted one on that site you linked. I've never had good luck with the led tails on any previous bikes, but this one does well in sunlight, where my past bikes it was hard to see. Seems like a nice unit. Thanks for the info!
