Well hell. I was just hitting puberty when you joined up! I bought my first VFR back in 06. When it dies, I will buy my second, if I don't die first.

What year of VFR did you buy? You probably know, but a 1987 VFR700F2 is the best unit to buy. Also, to have the best, you absolutely need Michelin tires, Rotella oil, stock filter,Shell fuel, and live in Canada! Not to try to get anyone annoyed.

I just picked it up today, 900 miles round trip. It's a 1998 model with 21k miles. Hopefully I can get pics up soon before another 8 years comes by.

Nice catch. I'll just be the one to be tacky and ask what you paid for it. Those bikes are getting rare by the day.

Congrats on the new to you ride! My first V4 was a V45 Magna I shared with my dad. I love that bike, great machine even though it was a cruiser. If you find you need help with you 5 Gen, feel free to send us a PM. As as Scuba said, will work for IPA.
