Hmmm...suddenly riding pillion doesn't seem so bad after all :beguiled:
Also, I found an important public safety announcement in case you guys are thinking of trying this position out :glee:

I am offended that Gator Greg would use this hallowed forum to display the obvious agenda of promoting Yamaha Motorcycles.

The bike looks like it may have started life as a 79 SR500.

    Teeheehee, those vids!!

Really though, it would be fun to have a male ride pillion, but I wouldn't feel comfortable if he was too much bigger than me.

Guess I'll have to stick with femme à femme.

Could be dangerous AM since I'm so much bigger, but I'll volunteer anyway to help you try it out :smile-new:

Always happy to help out a fellow forum member AM! I do scare easily however and I know you like to ride fast so you may need to blindfold me so I don't panic :anonymous: I've studied those public safety videos above (especially the second one) and I've concluded that the Rodeo technique would work best for parking lot and cruising speeds, but for high speeds and brisk acceleration the Twin-Peaks method would be the safer way to go :smile-new:

I am a firm believer in safety first. And I do like to go fast. I would not want my passenger to be injured.

    Femme à homme vid calling?...

    On a Yamaha...

That's great -I'll be sure to bring my GoPro so we can film another public service announcement - LOL. In addition to safety I'm also a firm believer in comfort. Therefore I'd recommend sticking with Honda since they just patented a new air conditioning system for motorcycles (see link). It might get extremely hot with two people scrunched together on one bike :playful:

Hey, there were a couple of really sweet Honda's at the end of that video. What Yamaha, BTW? I was too busy looking at something else.

As long as you narrate the public service announcement, you can have the A/C!

Will be interesting if that A/C unit comes to market. This looks intriguing too:
