Apeman go-pro look a like?

Came across this from another forum post. Looks and sounds like it does it all like the Go-Pro cameras. Hard to believe it is any where near a go-pro for the dollars. Is this real? Anybody have any experience or info about it? Sure is a cheap way to go and that's the problem I'm thinking. To good to be true!

I bought a cheap version of a gopro and it is just that !!

Theres lots of examples on the net, look up SJ4000 action camera or SJ6000 action camera. You can pick them up for peanuts.

I use a sony HDR AS 15 action camera on my VFR, and only bought my cheapo gopro to see if it was any good. For the money it was ok (£15 UK), we ended up with 2 of them, we use them on my Oldest sons enduro bike and my grandsons moto x bike. They are cheap enough to not matter if the boys take a tumble and the camera gets trashed.

You pays your money and you makes your choice

If you want real quality buy something decent, if you are unsure about amount of use etc buy a cheapo and try before you buy

Does not include a memory card, buy the $11 one they suggest.
Includes various mounting pieces, but none curved to fit a helmet.
It is compatible with the Go Pro mounts if you buy some more.
I got a bag of various mounts and bits for another $20.

As far as cheap cameras go, sometimes you get what you pay for other times you can find a diamond in the rough. The features list and specifications can tell you a lot about how it might compare but you'll only find out how well it works and last if you grab one and use it. GoPro does such a great job at marketing that you might believe they are the only game in town.

I actually have a few cameras and found the the quality of the image and sound turned out to be pretty good. A friend of mine turned me onto this website when he and I were looking for GoPro alternatives.

As far as that Apeman camera, personally I find it within that cost range that it's almost throw away if it doesn't do what you like.
