    Alright, I did it!
Took advantage of the current sales promotion and ordered my 2015 VFR800F!
Also ordered the Honda side bags and the rear tire hugger.
I'll be placing my exhaust order with Delkevic next (9" carbon fiber oval muffler)...Might as well get all this done right from the get go!
Looks like I'll be starting my riding season a little earlier than usual :)
Thank you all for your answers to my earlier questions as well!

Wow - she's a beauty - congrats! She'll make sexy noises for you too with the Delk :love-struck: I just noticed that you guys in Canada get the "VFR" emblem - I thought everybody in N. America got the "Interceptor" badge - weird. Anyway, enjoy your new bike!

Well, get ready. THE most important thing about buying a new bike is "how much did you pay for it" whether the number is true or not, out the door or not, etc. Never mind the attributes of the bike. Just venting.

Lol, Honda Canada / has a promotion on right now...reg $14499, promo price $10999 CDN. So I thought that was pretty reasonable. Plus discount off of the accessories that I ordered. Interestingly, the salesperson mentioned they had only sold apx. 6 of these bikes last year..The one I bought was ready to go on their showroom floor. He also mentioned any "leftover" inventory typically sells out after next weeks local motorcycle show..so I think my timing was pretty good lol! Just ordered my Delkevic exhaust as well, should arrive on my doorstep next week :). May be on the road pretty early this season !

It will probably be a few weeks before delivery, red is such a slow colour.
    Only kidding, congrats.

May I inquire into the deal terms?

EDIT - Ah, I see you live in the Wonderful Land of Canada. Perhaps a deal in Canada is different than a deal in the States. Anyway, Congrats on a good MC.

    Yellow is faster.

Italian red is the best bike color there is, though.

I never quite bonded with Honda's whites. I honestly passed on an almost new modern gen VFR because it was white. I mean, it was way over my budget but a super bargain. If it were $500-1000 cheaper or red I would have gotten it, screw the budget.

My friends back in the 90s used to pick on the guy with the '93. That looked like an appliance color to us, being slightly off white with a touch of pearl. I think it was supposed to be pearl white but we would tell the guy it just looked like the bike was dirty all the time, or that he should put it back in the kitchen. He, of course, claimed it was the fastest of the generation since it was the last, and demanded we refer to it as the Very Fast Refrigerator.

    There's no accounting for tastes.

I prefer to think of my appliance as a white dragon.

I feel it's fun to see all the different things people love. How boring for everyone to have the same.

    Damned straight AM.

If we didn't have different tastes the world would be as grey and uniform as an Apple superbowl commercial. And we'd never be able to tease our friends. What fun is that? You have to have other cool colors, even if red is still best. I mean, some people just want to be understated. Others want to be fast, and yellow is fast. And it's often the guy who has a ridiculous idea for a paint job that will come up with a really surprisingly cool custom that isn't ridiculous after all. And, even though red is best, I'd got for a Red White and Blue like the anniversary VFR in a heartbeat because it's just plain classic Honda.

Same with different bikes. I have my preference, but I love my buddies beemer, and I'd totally dig one of the big bang R1s for flogging around, and I've had a woodie for RC51s since the first time I rode one, and the last time I rode a Concourse and twisted the throttle I wondered if I could use the thing to haul a fucking boat with all that power... that thing was just ridiculous compared to what a touring bike would give you 20 years ago. Honestly, has there been a truly Bad bike made since the mid '00s?

These days, it's a smorgasbord for riders.

Congratulations to you for buying one of the most fun motorcycles ever offered for sale. It will go good, stop good, corner good, and you can ride it all day hard. Just ask our hero, Anne Marie. These bikes are very hard to destroy but very easy to have a blast with. Great decision to bring one home!!

Red,white and blue are classic colors? Even the North Koreans think so.

    http://lizardpoint.com/flags/flags_Red_White_And_Blue.php

Honestly? Do they make bikes in North Korea? Maybe if one of those old Chinese guys doesn't nuke Trump Tower we will see the emergence of a bad bike called the Trumpglide..that runs on hot air.
