2017 R3 - Reggie's Roadhouse Roundup Memorial Day Weekend (May 27,28)

I'll update this, but this is more of a placeholder at this point. I have started receiving questions so I'll post stuff here as we go.​

Questions:

What's the route? Depends. We generally go for about a 150-200 mile jaunt that circles through mostly SLO county but getting into Monterrey or Santa Barbara, or Kern county depending on route.

Is there camping? Yes. If you mean sleeping in a tent in my yard. Many participants camp in my yard, RV, basement, or even in my casket (long story).

What's the cost? There is no set cost because we do not want people to miss out because they don't have as much money as someone else. We are pretty much on the honor system of donate what you can, and then we shop for groceries based on what we get. Sometimes we eat steak and sometimes we eat burgers. We always get plenty of booze.

Is there a raffle? Usually. There is one attendee who usually remains relatively sober (comparatively speaking) and that is Wayne AKA SilverSurferRWB. Every year I remember a raffle, I remember Wayne running it. He has a few ground rules, but they are pretty simple and I'll let him elaborate.

When is it? We say Memorial Day weekend so that gives players some options. Most folks roll in sometime Friday, but a few that are coming from farther come on Thursday. Most depart on Sunday, but some stay and help with the cleanup. The big group ride(s) are on Saturday and start around 9ish (depending on how late SLOVFR and Tori are).

Is there food on the ride? This varies. Sometimes we just grab sandwiches and eat somewhere along the route. Other years we have stopped in at restaurants along the way.

Are there rules? Not too many. Pretty much just be an ass (or at least too big of an ass because most of are assholes). We also like for each rider to make sure the next rider sees if we turned before they try and catch up to the group. The lead people will never continue on without waiting for the next grouping unless it's Long. If it's Long you are following then God help you.

Are there t-shirts? Usually. It's kind of a pain in the arse to orchestrate so follow this thread and if they happen, here is where you'll hear first.
