Has anyone tried using the analog - and speed - on the power commander 5?

If so where is the speed wire that I would tap into for this
    and
where would I tap into for the engine temp?

I believe the temp sensor input is the Yellow/blue wire on the ECT sensor on the bike. This makes sense as this is similar to the VFR800.

However I am not sure where to go for the speed input?

On Hondas it's usually a pink wire, or pink with black stripe, and goes from the speed sensor on the countershaft (not sure where on the 1200, though) to the PGM-FI unit as well as to the clocks.

Ok sounds good I did find the Pink/Black wire. That looks like it for sure. I also just verified with the honda bike shop too and that is the correct wire. I looked in the wiring diagram and that wire also go to an open 4-pin connector. Would be nice to got off of that connector wire but honda had no idea where that would be on the bike and neither do I. might tap off the wires at the ECU probably the easiest.
