    I contacted www.helibars.com about 2014+

    they replied back with this email:

    Thank you for your recent inquiry about HeliBars. I'm afraid that we do not make anything for the 2014 VFR 800 at this time. We are currently looking for a bike for R&D. If you know of someone in the New England Area that would like to loan out their bike for a FREE set of HeliBars have them contact us. I'm more than happy to keep your request on file so that we can contact you should more information become available.

    If there is anything else that we can help you with please let me know. Thanks again, and safe riding!

    Sounds like a great deal for somebody if it's still on. A set of Heli-bars is a fair amount of pesos.

    Would the Helibars be any better than the Motopump spacers?

    Motopump spacers offer 16,24 & 32mm height increase. Any higher than 32mm (1 1/4 inch), and the bars would hit the fairing/screen.
    So would the helibars mount the bars closer to the rider and/or a height increase?
    But then what about the length of cables/hoses, would you then need to lengthen all the cables/hoses then if you move the bars further back/higher than what the 32mm motopumps spacers already offer?

    Just in case hwyix doesn't know about the motopump spacers;

    Better? Hard to say.. Different? Yes. From a general POV both look like they are not going to fall off the bike anytime soon.

    I'm in Ogeron and don't even have a 2014. I do have Helibars so it looks like you might be the ideal candidate.

    Go for it! I'd like a little more upright position than what the moto pumps provide.
