Reverse bleed

    Will it harm the abs system on the vfr 1200 if you use the reverse brake feed method?

    It shouldn't as the ABS system is electronic and resides on the wheel, fork and frame of the bike. The sensor rings and sensors are all external to the hydraulic brake system.

    Thanks for your help. I would assume you still follow the same sequence as if you are bleeding them?

    I would imagine so, haven't bled a 7 Gen but the 5&6 Gens have almost the same bleed procedure, with the 6 Gen ABS having one extra bleed point. Whether reverse bleeding or using traditional methods, I would go with the manual as to the order.
