My beloved 2002 Honda VFR800 was stolen yesterday from my apartments parking garage. It was behind a driveway gate, but that didn't stop them from stealing it in broad daylight. Keep an eye out for it. Red with white wheels, a shitty and broken JC Whitney trunk (why did they stop selling those) and givi racks for both side cases and the rear trunk. 16486954_10154817261261224_8979462291419353679_o.jpg

We'll keep an eye out. Don't fret, fellow member Alaskan got his VFR back as well as an OCMoto member getting his FZR600 back recently too! Hopefully it was for a joy ride and will turn up soon. Crossing my fingers for you.

When a bike or a car gets nicked especially an older model, sometimes it can be a joyriders who does the deed. Chances are the thief will ride or drive the shit out of the machine.

If the owner gets the machine back even as soon as a couple of days later, and has theft insurance on it. The insurance adjusters show up like flies on shit and stand around doing a dumb act to get the owner to sign off.. IOW, don't do it. Have the bike or car checked out by a trustworthy shop or a trusted mechanic.

If you sign off like they want you to, you're fucked for any further compensation and the insurers many times will cancel the entire policy down a very short road.

Wow that sucks - hope they catch them and chop off their hands. At least the thieves have good taste.

What part of Torrance? It's not usually thought of as a high crime city, but it's got some dodgy bits...

    Ciao,

I'm right by Redondo Beach on 190th. Lots of break ins lately. Lots of stolen vehicles, and stolen tail gates too.
