    As for a replacement - you will find loads of aftermarket kit has been tried with varying degrees of sucess. Avoid cheap chinese copies circulating on eBay. The safe bet is to order an OEM Shindengen RR from Jack at http://www.roadstercycle.com/ Loads of people on here have used their RRs and thus far not a single reported failure. If you need help choosing the right kit of with the install just speak to Jack.

    Hi Kristian. As my friend Skimad says, check roadstercycle.com. The FH020AA Supermosfet Kit is a perfect fit for the 5-Gen and a easy install. It runs much cooler then OEM. As we always say, cut out the plastic connector and solder the yellow wires, install a volt meter and you should be good to go for a long time. Good Luck!

    I've got a RicksElectric unit that I got thru WireMyBike, so far it's been great.
