Rebirth. 200,000+ miles on twelve different bikes through 2003. February 12, 2017-on, who knows. First ride in 13.5 years; a bit awkward and odd at first, but, it's coming back very fast.

Man, feels good to hang around bikers again. Funny, all these ingrained proper riding behaviors are streaming back, automatically, like breathing, seeing, and speaking, upon waking from a deep sleep. Don't rest upper body against handlebars, keep loose grip, stay up with your core. Hug tank with legs, help steer with leg pressure on tank and pegs. Read road surface for gunk. Read, predict, and account for somnambulant cage (cars are cages) behaviors. Countersteer when turning.

Riding motorcycles makes you feel 100% on, lit up. I remember now why I did it for so long, why it's so much a part of me. Highly recommended.
    More later, maybe.

Welcome back to two wheels. That right there is a very fine photo of a very fine bike (on a very fine day).

I will never understand how you feel. When I give up riding it will likely be that I can no longer physically ride, or someone is about to turn me into organic matter. Welcome back regardless.

Yep, I was over the moon when I saw the Staintune; exhaust royalty. Had them on several bikes before.

People writing words that don't exist is one of my uttermost pet peeves! It really is bigly moor of a problem now than when I went to skool befour.

    Didn't know if it had 1 "r" or 2
But thanks. I have now added it as an option in my spell check.

Lol. Welcome back to the life. I had stopped riding for about 18 years and when I started again I couldn't for the life of me remember why I stopped riding. After being in the saddle again for the last 5 years, just like Randy I'm not planning to stop till I have to.
