I ordered these from innovative-cycles.net. The communication and workmanship is outstanding. He uses Hayabusa mirrors and custom bends the stalk to fit your particular application. He also custom installed led bulbs to use as my turn signals on the back side of the mirror. The left mirror is now a full time garmin GPS unit and the right mirror is now a full time rear view wide angle camera. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story. I took this time to also install a competition werkes slip on and tail tidy.

How easy is it to see the rear view in direct sunlight?

I havn't ridden the bike yet as it's still winter, but their is washout in direct light as is to be expected. I was instructed to have the camera angled towards the ground as headlights cause this washout as well and to adjust angle as needed to suit my liking.

If they figure a way to include a TV tuner, I'm in. Oprah at the ton.

Then my advice is to please use your head and LOOK before each and every lane change. That's a lot of visual information squeezed into a little screen, that you safely only have a second or two to look at while at speed. I feel that this is pretty gimmicky and while it does have a purpose sitting at a stoplight, I feel it compromises your rearward vision before a lane change. I use both of my mirrors and a head check. With this, promise me you'll look, because during the day you probably won't see much and at night, you may only see headlights.

I always look around me whenever I ride. My mirrors were mostly useless as they pointed either at my elbows or too far to the side. I am proud to say I am a very aware and safe rider. I mostly wanted the GPS and the camera is a nice tool if used properly.

Very interesting. Next thing they'll have available is hands free parking.

Thank you for looking around. I like the GPS idea.

I will consult with Oprah before making any final decisions. Unlike the rest of us she may have this rig on her GSXR 1000.

Until then my GPS will have to live in it's Ziploc baggie and I will have to be content at looking behind myself with regular mirrors. I must say I have really nice elbows, so this is not much of a bother.

I want to hear that exhaust. Is it a custom install, or for the vfr1200? Would that fit the vfr800 pipe outlet?

The exhaust is meant for the vfr1200.
