How many miles did you get from the OEM Tires? Like I said in an earlier post that my rear tire is shot. I bought both front and rear new Dunlop Smart Road pilot 2's. The OEM front has 2,300 miles. Depending on your experience of milelage I need to know if I wait to change out the front tire. Thank you for your feedback.

Is below 4000 miles the same as less than 4000 miles?

Didn't get on with the roadsmart 3, first set were OE wore them out them replaced with roadsmarts 3. Still no difference. Tried pr3 improvement ,wore them out then T30 evo. Totally transformed the bike fantastic.

I got around 2300 easy miles from the Dunlop OEM rear then it was toast. The Dunlop OEM's are pitiful examples of a motorcycle tire in today's world in terms of wear and handling. I did keep the front and put on a new 'Stone which are very good tires. My free advice is to ditch the OEM's, the quicker the better, then enjoy your bike much more.

Wow, you got that a bit wrong...they're actually called Dunlop Roadsmart 2. And FYI, they have recently come out with the new Roadsmart 3.

Sounds like you best change em out ASAP. then also sounds like you need T30s. IDK tires are like oil, get what works for you at a price that makes sense for your pocket book . To stir the pot, I like my Pirellis myself, is all good, they all go around and around. Depending on your riding style, mileage will vary no matter what tire you choose.

thanks fink on the "had to many" correction:witless: How many Kilometers did you get or even a mile conversion would be great to know.

    Thanks,

Vfrwja, did you keep the front or did you replace the set. I am looking at just changing the shot rear and keeping the front on a while. I have a full set but am undecided to change both right now. thanks for your feedback.

Got about 2.5 k miles out of the OE roadsmart 3. About 4.5 k out of the next set of 3s. 5 + out of the pr3. T30 evos are on 3.5- 4 k and are about half worn. Evos are the gt version

No offense fink, but your OE tires were definitely NOT roadsmart 3. They were most likely D222 which is a single compound OEM version of the Roadsmart 2. I'm guessing your second set were Roadsmart 2's since the 3 just came out in the last year.

You probably be correct then. All I know was I severely disliked them.
