Hello all, I'm 25 years old and ride an '03 VFR and looking for some people around SW Oklahoma interested in riding in OK or the surrounding area. I don't think I've ever met any other VFR riders and thought it would be cool for a meet up!

Here's a picture of my girl on her CO/NM trip last spring/summer! Anne Marie, do y'all have a group of VFR riders up there in your neck of the woods? That's not a bad ride!

Love the look of a moto set up for a trip! Very nice!

There are a few of us up here. But I've only ridden with ictghost a few times. A super guy!

    Here is the Kansas thread:

I'm up for anything most of the time. Just got back from a weekend in CO. I'm spontaneous and often decide last minute to go and where to. Most of the time I have a plan I don't share until I go. If you ever want company somewhere, let me know. Chances are I can make it.

I'll definitely let you know! My work schedule is pretty crazy but allows me to have a few days off pretty easily. So what exactly is this Reggie Roadhouse Roundup all about?? Sounds like a good time!

Sorry, I've been pretty busy with work the past few days and have been unable to get on here! And can anyone tell me how to upload a profile picture?

It is an annual event held in Atascadero California. Has been going on since around 2007 or something like that. Been down to that 4 times now and heading down for a fifth time this May. Held on the Memorial Day Weekend. Great time. Reg is one of our moderators. He and his wife are the greatest hosts ever. A little searching around here and you will find well contributed to threads.

Saved you the time to look it up. These threads are photo heavy. I am missing the first two I think.

Sounds like a good time to me!! Maybe if I can get off that weekend, I can find a few other riders to ride out there with! Now does everyone just get hotels around there or does everyone camp out?

A friend from TX is going part way with me...but I'm leaving early...like May 20. Hitting CO Pike's Peak, Royal Gorge. I'm doing Zion and Grand Canyon before heading there.

I camp. For 10 mins and 20 bux you can set up your sleep. Beats paying 5 times that for hotel when you take way more than 10 mins to check in and carry up bags.

I really dislike paying for hotel. I had to on my CO trip I took this weekend. 67 bux I could stomach...but still...that's like 2 days of riding gas money...or one. Haha

Plus camping is soooo fun and adventurous and you get all the FEELS like rain, cold, hot, wind, and sometimes perfect temps ans starry skies. You get to feel scared but then relieved when you wake fine in the morning.

Plus, you have peace of mind carrying your own shelter. What if you break down in middle of nowhere or find yourself in a town with no vacancies or do too much riding and when you stop there are no hotels or you get sick and have to stop where you are at? Having your own shelter at the ready is very important IMO.

Anyhoo, on my rides I camp whenever possible on short or long rides. At R3, it seems most people camp in Reg's yard or find a floor space inside to sleep.

Go into My Profile to upload an image. You'll find the options on the left hand side of your profile. I can't remember from there. I'm on my mobile right now.

Not that we did this to avoid all the fun at Regs, just seemed some what of a good idea since I prefer beds over the ground, we rented an Air B&B there in town on the other side of 101. ;) They have many to choose from.

From what I understand, most ride Viffers to there.
