Last week I was having an odd brake problem so I posted a thread describing it here on VFRworld. OZ VFR responded with this:

Here's a screen-shot from the Honda parts fiche that shows the item he was talking about (part #13):

OZ VFR was right! I got home from a work trip last night and as soon as I drove into the garage I went to the VFR and looked closely at the front brake lever. Yes, I had installed the part backwards (reversed).

Who knows how long it would have taken me to figure this out without good advice from this forum.

Thanks, OZ VFR, you saved me a lot of trouble.

    Greg

To add to this, he went through this same issue himself so truly speaking from experience!

Those Aussies and New Zealanders have demonstrated that they are pretty damn sharp when it comes to these machines, and machines in general.

They might be smart but I still don't trust them around beer, women, or sheep. :tongue-new:

That's New Zealand mate, where men are men, and sheep are nervous, not Oztralia.
We just don't go for that sort of thing here.

Now I'm going to grab a beer and see if I can chat to the neighbours wife about borrowing one of her chooks.
