    Hi All

Only sharing my youtube video pushing "the love of our lives" to the max =)

Only mod is a high level Delkevic 45mm Oval Muffler, without DB Killer

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a-uGA80hp0

A Ton of mods on my bucket list, but no money... my very 1st proper mod is on the way though, front and rear suspension by Jamie - DMr Performance Suspension, can't wait to receive it =)

I have read so many good things about it here.

The fastest I've ever gone on my bike, on a closed course, with a professional rider was 65mph, because I follow all laws religiously.

Hi Resina, looks like your VFR reached 265. That's fast, too fast for me.

    Hi SML
Thanks, goal is do a dyno test as is, nearly stock, and after install catless headers from 1998 bike, and do the exact same road to see how she behaves, as well as a new dyno test, (no need to say in the same place) so that finally we all know exactly the differences/ gains when catless headers are fitted.
I'll posts all updates, as soon as I have "time" to do them; I have found so much good information here, I'm happy to share.

For a second a second I thought I was reading a new Unleashing thread. I kinda still feel like I am...

My apologies Resina...your response sounds like a thread that kept going and going here and in another place.

Regardless, glad to see someone having fun with speed on their moto!

5th gens rule. It would be be good to see what numbers you come up with from the dyno, all things being what they are. some here are Number hungry. , Great first thread, but where's the photo of said VFR? ;)

Awe.. Nice way to back up your findings, seem to be running pretty good there. 260kph = 161mph, taking in built in speed-O error of 8%, -12 mph = 149mph Sounds about right good job.

Hey OP, did I misunderstand when you said you would use a different dyno? Every dyno is going to read a different amount of power, to one degree or another. To keep your results as accurate as possible, use the same machine/operator and try and get the weather as similar as you can. This way you will know the results are close as possible.

Anybody have some solid numbers or real dynamometer data other than what is shown on printed out graphs from those mobile shootout dynos from Harbor Freight?

Another cranked in "factor" is who is riding the bike or bikes. Example: (hypothetical in case of wadded up shorts) Two identical bikes at say a drag strip. One rider is CR who does this stuff on a regular basis and has the timing slips to prove it. The other rider is an almost over the hill dude in his 70's who has had nothing other than Harleys all his life. The Christmas Tree goes green and.....

She gently unsnaps her bra, letting her blouse fall down her shoulder, while looking longingly into his eyes...

    Oh wait, wrong forum...
