I might be completely wrong, but I seem to remember reading something about him being in degrading health and the bike was for sale? Maybe just picked a bad time to quit sniffing glue....but I seem to remember something like that. Then again, I remember a lot of shit that is of questionable origin.....

I hear you, Norcal. Some of the most intense memories I have may not have actually occurred.

I have often wondered how many of those SC bikes are still around (Besides TC's), and of that group, how many are daily drivers.

Engine wise I can see where you're coming from. The attention to detail on safe-t is way beyond the norm.

That is without a doubt one of the nicest rebuilds I have ever seen
That is the work of a true craftsman I could never hope to get to that level of talent
I hope he is still able to enjoy his obvious passion.

I think one of the things that appealed to me was the unique color and I also liked the raw looking upturned pipe. It just seemed a bit meaner which suits me and my style.

Although I must admit I am becoming an old fart rapidly. I rarely hit tripe digits anymore. Maybe once in the past week and that was on a GS!
