    Hi everyone,
I will likely pickup a 1991 from a friend estate next month.
I've had a 87 and 93 in the past so I kind of know the bike well. This was well before forum times ;-)...

The 1991 will need full tlc has it has been sitting for a while.

One question, the bike has a full setup twin brother exhaust with left side (chain side) exit.
Is it possible to install a center stand on the bike?

    Thank you

I think it will depend on the exhaust system itself and how it is designed
I have a 1990 with a full Yoshimura system and after I found a centre stand for it I found out the OEM centre stand will not bolt up to the factory mounting points, the stand will hit the exhaust pipes
I think you maybe able to cut and weld short extensions to the stand for it to fit but it would be a lot of work
So can you post a picture or two of your new 91, would be cool to see the exhaust system on the left, how many miles?

    Thank you
I don't have the bike yet, late may likely. I added one pic in the first post, that's all I have.
It's got 24k miles on it.

Nice pair, the white with blue seat is different, am I right to think you added a rear fender flasher light at the bottom for safety?
Is that a slip on Yoshimura that bolts onto the original collector? Hard to tell in the pic

Bought an un-cut rear fender to replace cut one, slip on Yoshimura can, no strobe. I had a strobe built into my black one when I bought it, had a mercury switch hooked up so that it only flashed when I slowed down. It burned out and I got a replacement centre cowl in granite blue. bikelift.jpg
