I'm not going to knock on those, but for me, all that information on my visor would be a distraction.

Yep, just one more distraction that isn't needed.

I donated a few bucks to their original gofundme appeal several years ago, they are still going and hopefully start to ship products soon. Much better idea than an entire helmet system, why get into the helmet business to sell a display? Not for everyone, but got to give them credit for persevering for so long.

I could see a benefit if it would display scrolling text messages from your phone. I'm not condoning texting while riding but it would be helpful to allow people to contact you in case of an emergency.

Plus the HUD could display weather forecasts and other various warnings such as tornado alerts. Imagine if you're going on a cross-country tour and you're totally unaware of a downpour ahead, it would be great to have some kind of early warning system so you can either change your route or check into a hotel early.

Also, it would be killer as well to display directions from your phone's GPS. No more messing around with phone or gps mounting kits, just keep your phone in your jacket and bluetooth will automatically display your next turn.

There are lots of possibilities here. Hope they do well!

I would be interested in something just for this reason.

On my ride last Friday, it was a pain to keep stopping and checking radar to make sure I wasn't about to ride into a rain-wrapped tornado as conditions were favorable for one.

Though I can hear GPS directions from my phone through my SENA and I may be able to get weather alerts on the road if I had a SENA with radio, it's still not the same as being able to see a map or the direction a storm is heading.

And I ride through lots of storms. Seems just a matter of time before a tornado takes me to OZ

I guess if anybody has sent them some pesos it would be helpful to let them know that "less devices" should be "fewer devices"

I don't see the USB port for XBOX or for watching Oprah on dark and stormy nights.

This rig might be good if the helments were painted with company logos, farkle stickers, faux autographs of fast guys and sold as virtual reality items.

There would be dudes that would never turn off the data stream whilst riding. This could possibly up the number of crashes from inattenton operating the bike or car.. Just like the dudes who leave the in dash GPS rigs running all the time just to get to the grocery store or my favorite hang oot.

I can see it now.."Look dude, I just discovered a new route to Wal*Mart" that's number 35 I have stored in my new skidlid. I think I'm gonna post them on Facegbook so I can share with all my friends, all 600."

Some of us might never recover if say watching Oprah and the road at the same time and all of sudden a bigass bug goes splat on the middle of her cyber forehead.

Well you might think it's not ready, but I was reading a news article on my Apple stocks app and up popped an ad for NuViz and the heads up display, it's coming!
